[LM_NET] TAR: Mid & Sec: Adopt-an-Author Program

I checked the archives and saw Target requests but no responses to this
same question:
 
My assistant principal just sent me an email she received from someone
who I think may be a vendor to get us to buy books from them in the
guise of a "program".  
 
Has anyone else been contact or heard of, joined, or used this?
