[LM_NET] MID / SEC - Darren Shan's Demonota Series

Have any of you ordered Darren Shan's Demonota series for your libraries 
yet?  My kids are asking for them, and they seem much darker than "Cirque du 
Freak."  I'm not sure if I want to get them or not, although book 1 has been 
favorably reviewed by Booklist, Kliatt, SLJ, etc.  Titles are:
1.  Lord Loss
2. Demon Thief
3. Slawter
4. Bec (out in May 07)
