Dear all, I am a library teacher who is planning to do a lesson with fourth and fifth graders on the Holocaust allegory "Terrible Things" by Eve Bunting. Can anyone suggest an aim for this lesson, and a follow-up activity? I am also going to do a lesson on the story of Chiune Sugihara, who helped to rescue Jews during the Holocaust. Can anyone suggest an aim and a follow-up activity? (e.g. How did the actions of ordinary people help to rescue Jews during the Holocaust?) Thanks.
