I feel the same way. I came out of undergraduate and went right into a
masters program for library science. On Long Island, NY the only colleges that
offer this degree are private colleges, therefore I knew what I was in for
loan wise.

Yet, I don't view my college debt like I view my credit card debt. Credit
card debt was my own spontaneous and not always thought out impulse to buy,
but I do not view my education debt as something bad.

It can be nerve racking knowing that you have this much debt behind you, and
as a graduate student in the process, there are times I get nervous I won't
be able to find a decent job... but I take it in stride and just have to
hope that hard work pays off well.

Even knowing what I know now, I'm not sure I see a way other than
borrowing money. I came to library school straight from undergrad--I do
not regret this in the least. There are also other factors that made it
more difficult for me to do the job at the university while going to
school thing.
