Hi all, Julie Amero's sentence has been delayed again -- until April 26. Indications are that "negotiations" are underway between her defense team and the CT Department of Criminal Justice (who we hope remember what the last word in their name means). There is a report on my CSRIU site about important implications of this situation for schools and parents. I address the importance of technical protections, education, appropriate response, and responsible investigations. Check it out. I also address these issues in free booklets for parents and teens on my Cyber-Safe Kids, Cyber-Savvy Teens site. Nancy -- Nancy Willard, M.S., J.D.
