I had a student that remembered reading a book at her middle
school that concerned a teenager who was stricken with polio. She
remembers that the girl had an "attack" in chorus and was placed in an
iron lung. She eventually recovered and she believes this fiction book
was based on a true story. She remembers that it had a yellow cover.

"The forests of America, however slighted by man, must have been a great
delight to God; for they were the best He ever planted."
