I have been forwarded a word doc with about 12 graphics inserted that I need to copy and then use in a booklet that I have created for the school. about reading in home for the parents of teens. When I select a graphic in the Word doc, the only option is to 'copy'. So I copy and then paste into My Pictures, it appears as a 'scrap' and not a gif or jpg. Although I can open these scraps, how can I convert them into an acceptable file format? (I did paste it into Paint, but then the gif had all this white attached to the picture to the right, making the file a page-wide strip with my image on the left margin) Did I tell you I was a novice at working with images? Do I need to? Thanks for your help.
