[LM_NET] books off topic?

I took Nizalowski's post to be about the book: Are we Rome?  by Cullen
Murphy.  Is this not appropriate because it is discussion of a book or
because it is discussion of a political or socially controversial book?
Does that mean we can only discuss books that do not stir controversy?
