I'm wondering what most high school librarians out there do with study halls in
their buildings. Currently, our system is pretty much that any student who can
convince their SH teacher to let them come is able to, often arriving at the
library with nothing to do.

How are your schools running study halls and the library? A suggestion has been
made that students wishing to go to the library during SH would obtain a pass from
the library at the beginning of the day and then students without passes wouldn't
be able to come.

Any suggestions? I'm very interested in hearing how other high schools handle
students from study halls in the library.
