Question for everyone... I recently purchased Jackie Mims Hopkins book "The Shelf Elf Helps Out." It is cataloged in 372.4. It's a great teaching tool for how books are cataloged in the library and what each Dewey section is. Would it not be better classified under 025.4? The blurb for the book states: "Skoob is back--ready to take students on a journey through the neighborhods in the library! With help from Stacks, the Grand Dewey Daddy shelf elf, Skoob explains the three kinds of addresses a book might have. He describes each address from the zero hundreds to the 900s, and includes his trademark rhyme with each category." Please send any suggestions to my school e-mail at: tpope@floydboe.net Thanks in advance!
