[LM_NET] Discovery Channel Planet Earth

My 5th grade teachers want me to order the collection of DVDs that
follow the recent series.  I have the shows taped, but have not viewed
them.  Are they age appropriate?  The web site gives nothing to indicate
reviews by professionals.  One parent of an 11 year old had a rave
review.  Opinions?
