O Collective Brain,

I have a teacher who needs help. He is a social studies teacher who has, for some
reason, been hired to teach English/Language Arts, so he's struggling to get
acclimated. Right now, we would love to know if any of you have good activities or
lesson plans for using reference tools such as dictionaries, encyclopedias,
almanacs, and atlases. Activities using magazines, newspapers, online databases,
etc. would also be appreciated. TIA
