Hi, I'm new to this so hope I'm doing it correctly to respond to your
request.
Our 6th graders read Lemony Snicket (A series of Unfortunate Events) and
Harry Potter
anything by Margaret Haddix, C.S. Lewis, and Gary Paulsen
Also we just added Hank Zipzer series by Henry Winkler and Rex Jones
series by Jonny Zucker for lower readers that seem to be going out
regularly.
We just added 5th grade into our MS, so I've been looking at shifting some
books from one collection to the other, but then I don't want to remove
much as 4th grade needs material.... it's hard to change a collection
focus if they don't add $. It would certainly rate a proposal for a budget
raise though :)
