Hello All:

I have tried to respond to everyone individually, but if I have missed someone I
apologize. Thank you, thank you to all for your suggestions, advice, sympathy, and
comfort. It is nice, as always, to know that I am not alone and that others have
traveled similar paths before me. A few things for all to know: We are considering
a move to North Carolina this summer if the job situation doesn’t improve – if you
know of areas looking for a good school media specialist and a great art teacher,
let me know! I’m also looking at going to get an ed tech degree to complement.
What do you think? A few people asked for a hit, so I am going to post with no
names attached because I do not want to “publish” personal stories. I apologize
profusely for the length of time it has taken me to get back to everyone. We were
dealing with a death in my husband’s family at the time I sent that email. Last
week a teacher in his school died and my cat was in the animal hospital for four
days – I apparently got the “asthmatic cat”. Thank you for making my lonely
situation a little more bearable.
I am posting the hit separately – if you want to read some inspirational advice,
take a look!

Sincerely,

A Very Very Grateful Unemployed SLMS
