Hello Everyone: It is me again - catching up on things undone while attending wakes, funerals, and staying up with a kitty who couldn't breathe. Good news - I have a job interview Monday! It is for an inner city school, BUT is a special and small school for 9th graders only - about 150-200 of them. It is designed to help give them a leg up for a year before entering the distracting and potentially problematic high school. Also to help them prepare for college. Much of the curriculum is project based. And the faculty and staff is of course limited. Brand new building and library with 25 new computers. Now for the question - I have only been on a couple of high school interviews and never for a place like this. Any key words I should know? Things I should mention? What are they going to be looking for from me that I should make sure to mention? Any advice for this different kind of position would be great - everyone who has read my other posts knows how important this job is to me!! Will post a hit if requested...
