Good morning, By Presidential Proclamation, the month of November is "Native American Month." Coupled with the major holiday of this month (Thanksgiving), children across the country will, in some way, study American Indians. I hope that material you find on my web site, American Indians in Children's Literature, will help you teach students in your classroom about American Indians. Below is a short summary of what I added to my web page this past week. [Note: To get to American Indians in Children's Literature, go to my page at the University of Illinois (http://www.nah.uiuc.edu/faculty-Reese.htm) and click on "Web Page."] Monday, October 29th, 2007 Are you reading historical fiction?
