Good morning,

In the last few days I've been looking at new
(since 1999) picture books about Thanksgiving.
About half of the set I'm looking at do not
include any references to American Indians or
Pilgrims. The story, instead, is about families
and their meal together, remembering things to be thankful for...

I wonder if, at one point in time, most or all
the picture books about Thanksgiving were about
Pilgrims and Indians. Books published prior to, say, 1970?

If you've got any books that old on your shelf,
I'd really like to hear from you... Do they
include 'Pilgrims and Indians' content?
