Good call on recognizing "A Vision of students Today" video on You Tube Sybil. I downloaded it and put it on my iPod to watch and share! I'm a HUGE fan of these inspirational You Tube videos promoting the need to incorporate modern technologies. I'm a bit biased of course, but even our district showed clips of the equally as inspirational "Did you Know 2.0" or "Shift Happens" video (with permissions, of course) to our staff at the beginning of the year. These two offer serious support for what we are teaching in our libraries today. On a side note, I used the "Le Book" video/skit on an ancient Help Desk idea just recently to introduce our iPods I received from a grant. You Tube & Teacher Tube have been a great benefit to my teaching and inspiration for lessons. I can't speak for everyone, mind you, but these three videos (I'd provide links, but You Tube is blocked at my school) are my recommended viewing for any school librarian!
