Thanks to those who could spread a little information on the topic of "Ordinal Numbers." The following two books were suggested: 1. Where's Harley? by Carol and Amanda Felton ; illustrated by Page Eastburn O'Rourke. Two children search their apartment building from the first floor to the tenth, but their pet rabbit stays one hop ahead of them. Publisher: Kane Press, 2003. ISBN-13: 978-1-57565-132-3 2. Henry the fourth Author: Murphy, Stuart J. A simple story about four dogs at a dog show introduces the ordinal numbers: first, second, third, and fourth. Also, this link was forwarded to me. It has several examples of books that can be used to teach primary math(not just ordinal numbers). http://www.toledolibrary.org/kidsplace/pdf/OrdinalNumbers.pdf found using http://vivisimo.com Thanks everyone for sharing Susan Strawn Susan Strawn Library Para Wilderness Elementary sstrawn@es.scs.k12.va.us -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
