I've been doing something similar to Carolyn's idea for our reading incentive 
program this year. We have genre passports and for each book read (and review 
written of the book) the students get their passport stamped. I found a great 
rubber stamp of an open book. They also get a book "charm" from 
www.fitnessfinders.net that hangs from a chain on their backpack each time they 
visit a genre.
