Good morning all: I am thinking of doing a "Party with BOB" evening here in the coming weeks to motivate the students who are involved with the Battle of the Books. Since we don't celebrate American Thanksgiving, I have a little leeway and hope to do it before the real Christmas rush starts. What I need to know is if anyone has ever done anything similar and what were some of the activities that you did? So far, we have come up with our own versions of "Jeopardy" and "Beat the Geek", a t-shirt designing time, some silent and group reading of course and perhaps a game of "Capture the Book" rather than "Capture the flag". We would like to fill up about 3 hours some night and so we need lots of ideas. Thanks to all!
