LM_NET Archive



Last week I sent out a request for recommendations for "must-have"  
titles to have for a brand-new high school library.  I have probably  
received more requests for a "hit" than actual responses at this  
point but wanted to share what I've gotten so far.

Gale series such as Novels for students, Poetry for students, etc.
Popular fiction including
Monster, Walter Dean Myers
Stephanie Meyer trilogy (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse)
Perks of Being a Wallflower
Ellen Hopkins novels in verse (Crank, etc.)
Sebold’s Lovely Bones
Any Nicholas Sparks
Literature Resource Center database
Discovering Collection database
