[LM_NET] Target: Candy Apple Series

I had a request from a teacher about a new series of books called the Candy Apple 
series.  Some of the titles are: Boy Next Door by Dower, Accidental Cheerleader by 
McCoy, Miss Popularity by Sedita.  I did look on Amazon.com but there were no 
professional reviews.  Is anyone familiar with this series?  Would you recommend 
purchasing them for your library?
