David's message reminded me of a wonderful gallery in Newburyport, Massachusetts 
(north of Boston) called Child at Heart Art Gallery.
 
They feature art works (mostly affordable) and signed books  from the following 
artists:  Quentin Blake,  Eric Carle, Carl Chaiet, Diane deGroat, Chris Demarest, 
Mary Newell DePalma, Tomie dePaola, Richard Doyle, Mary Grandpre, Ed Emberley, 
Trina Schart Hyman, David McPhail, Maurice Sendak, Patrick O'Brien and several 
others.

 
They do sell work online.
