Good afternoon. I have a bizarre, random question for you all. I bet someone on this listserv knows the answer! I was working on a display case earlier today and pinned up a book cover of The Body Of Christopher Creed. It's one of my very favorite books of all times and so of course I started thinking about the plot. When Torey discovers the body buried beneath some air tight rocks, the body begins to rapidly decompose due to the air suddenly circulating around it. I promise I'm not a morbid person, but I was wondering if that rapid decomposition due to sudden air exposure occurs in "real life." I've tried searching for the answer and while I've discovered many, um, unique websites I haven't come across the answer. Anyone know? TIA!
