The library is MY classroom and I get to make the rules. In my school, kids
come without their teachers as a class. So I am their teacher. If someone
told their kids on the way in no talking-I would probably say "Thanks for
trying to help but they are allowed to talk in here after the lesson as long
as it is quietly"

I agree it should be a bit quiet as it is a library.....

Now IF the teacher was in here with her class and SHE was supervising
them-then I guess her rules would go.
