Danville,
I have quite a number that I use, depending on my mood or the nature of
the message. I especially like this one from Bruno Schulz, a Polish Jew who was
killed during World War II.

understand me anyway when I look him straight in the eye and try to communicate my
meaning. A short sharp look or a light clasp of his hand will stir him into
awareness, and he will blink in rapture at the brilliance of The Book. For, under
the imaginary table that separates me from my readers, don’t we secretly clasp each
other’s hands?”

Invisible Colleagues,

It is interesting to see all the different salutations that's been used
on LM Net. I use "Invisible Colleagues", a term that got stuck in my
brain, after hearing about the "Invisible College" in the late 80's in
the Library and Information Science department at the university in
South Africa.

Just for Friday fun, what is yours?
