LM_NET Archive



Here is the latest incarnation of this "hit" with several titles  
added.  Many thanks again to all who responded.  It is very helpful  
to hear, first-hand, what titles others in this collective brain  
consider "must-haves".

To this list, I would add the following, which I consider must-haves  
based on their use at my own library (there are some duplicates some  
from the above list):

The Opposing Viewpoints series (used for a wide variety of projects  
in several depts.--especially for writing persuasive papers)
Stephen Westerfeld's Uglies, Pretties, Specials series
Stephanie Meyer's Twilight series
The DK Eyewitness books
A Child Called "It"
Imani All Mine
The First Part Last
"How to Draw. . . " books
Grolier Online Encyclopedia
Gale database (in Tennessee, it's the Tennessee Electronic Library)
