Dear Colleagues; While this is directed to ISTE members, we hope that other LM_NETers might be interested. ISTE(International Society for Technology www.iste.org) -- SIGMS (Special Interest Group Media Specialists) is sponsoring; "On Monday, November 19 at 9pm ET/8pm CT/7pm MT/6pm PT, SIGMS members are invited to join the Chicago Public Schools virtual librarian learning community in a discussion of the new AASL Standard #1 "Learners use skills, resources, and tools to inquire, think critically, and gain knowledge." Check out the SIGMS wiki http://sigms.iste.wikispaces.net/ both for more information about how to participate and to see a transcript of the meeting for discussion afterwards."
