[LM_NET] OT: Comic strip character

Hello all,
I am looking for a bit of information that is completely useless, but
I started thinking about it and hope that someone out there can
remember. I've searched the Internet, but have found nothing. MANY
years ago, there was a comic strip -- I want to say it was Li'l Abner,
but I just don't know -- that had a character called Legs Akimbo. Does
this sound remotely familiar to anyone? Does anyone remember the name
of the comic strip? Useless, useless question, but driving me crazy,
crazy.
