Hi. A parent recently told me that Amazon.com has a wish list feature and that she had seen a school library put their book wish list on Amazon's site. I then experimented with it and created one for our library. I put our Amazon wish list gadget on our school web page. Take a look: http://dcislibrary.googlepages.com/ One parent keeps it with her at all times (she figured out how to export it to her iPod) and is constantly getting us books from our wish list at garage sales and used book stores. I thought I'd share since it seems like a great way to develop the collection when many of us have such small book budgets.
