Hi Vicki and all,

We block and unblock at a district level, but we do make sure there is one
completely unblocked computer in a controlled area of each media center.
Media specialists can then check to see if sites are appropriately or
inappropriately blocked and give people access immediately if needed. If the
site is useful, we can then unblock it for every one.

This requires giving these computers a static IP address and the configuring
the blocking software appropriately.

All the very best,

Doug Johnson
