[LM_NET] TARGET: US Virgin Island authors

I will soon be traveling to St. Thomas and hoped to find a novel or two to 
read before going. I'd love to find something written by someone from the USVI 
or something set on one of the islands. After copious research I have found 
nothing. Also, I am hoping to find some children's' books form the VI to share 
with my K-5 students.

Any suggestions?
