That still doesn't unblock quick enough when a teacher is in a classroom. We use Lightspeed - If a site is blocked page comes up and allows teachers o\r students to request that a site be unblocked. When they click submit it generates an email to me, one of my staff, and Lightspeed. It shows the URL they were trying to access - I am normally at my desk and if not - the other staff member I have assigned to this has to be at hers Since we see the URL - I can respond and say misspelled URL -- and send the correct link back and the can click on it and keep on going. I also can click directly on the link and take a look at it and respond immediately. That it is unblocked or why it can't be -- if it is something questionable - than I can tell them and contact the superintendent (that has only happened once) A little extra work -- but well worth it to me -- Paula --- Vicki Sherouse <vsherouse@MCPS.K12.MT.US> wrote: > We are trying to get our district to approve the > librarian in each building having access to unblock > websites on the spot.
