A few other points 1. if staff development on ways to use the boards and software are not provided -- teachers aren't going to use them - they will use any piece of equipment like they have done in the past. Elementary teachers seem to take to the boards quicket than high school teachers -- for student interaction -- elementary teachers are used to group activities. High school teachers are still stand and deliver. If you don't have a principal who is an instructional leader and demands use and use in creative eays -- it isn't going to happen -- sorry to sound negative -- there will be a few teachers - but most will not -- I guess I have been around too long. 2. As far as two or three computers in a classroom -- elemetnary teachers use them -- most secondary teachers have requested to have them taken out of the classroom -- they want to take everyone to the lab -- and again - everyone do the same thing at the same time. 3. Ourt jr. high teachers seem to like the document cameras and LCD projectors 4. Jr, high and high school also like the interactive slates -- so I have purchased the PPromethean Interactive slates so that the teachers can learn the software and then expand use. --- Lisa Hunt <lisa3moon@YAHOO.COM> wrote: > I love them, too.
