I also disagree.  I use mine every day.  Our school has one in every
classroom and they're used CONSTANTLY.  Kids love it - we love it too.

I have to disagree with David's assessment of SMART Boards.  I have one
in
the library and use it EVERY day.  There are several of them in my
building and they have become THE technology tool to use.  They grab the
students' attention.  They are great for student and teacher
presentations.  The interactivity gets everyone involved in the lesson. 
SMART does an EXCELLENT job at providing resources for teachers.  I
wouldn't want to teach without one.
