If you work with adolescents and young adults, you should take a look at the new AdLit.org site at http://www.adlit.org/ You can subscribe to their newsletter and participate in the blog on adolescent literature, MashUp. MashUp is hosted by Jamie Watson, AdLit.org's consultant for literature. "Jamie is a reviewer for School Library Journal and she is active in the Young Adult Library Services Association, serving on several of its committees, including Quick Picks for Reluctant Young Adult Readers and Selected Audiobooks for Young Adults. She is a librarian in suburban Baltimore." There are also excellent links to additional resources on adolescent literature, such as Alice Yucht's Alice in Infoland, YALSA, etc. Shirley Lukenbill, Librarian Wooldridge Elementary, Austin (TX) ISD Lecturer, School of Information University of Texas at Austin Lecturer, School of Library and Information Science San Jose State University <mailto:slukenbill@sbcglobal.net> slukenbill@sbcglobal.net -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
