[LM_NET] Searching for book title

I have a teacher looking for a series of books he read in elementary school.  This 
would have been about 15 years ago.  When I asked for details, the most memorable 
to him was that it was blue.  I was able to get out that it was a series about a 
family.  In one of the books they are on an island.  It is not Swiss Family 
Robinson.  He thinks it might have been a Christian author.  Any ideas?
