Greeting LM_NETters,
Does your school provide a "guaranteed research experience" as a way to teach
necessary research skills to your students? Or perhaps your school calls it
something else. What I am looking for is a mandated long term research project that
is done in the library so that the librarian can make sure students learn all the
necessary steps in a research project.
I have seen models where one class (science, social studies, etc.) per grade must
come to the library to complete a project and the librarian is able to go to
through all the steps with the students over the course of the project.
If your school does something like this, can you please share with me what it looks
like? I will post a HIT if there is interest.
Thanks!
