LM-NETTERS

Tell me, is The Devil's Arithmetic too intense for a 5th grader? I just
had a 5th grade teacher come in to exchange a RIF book of that title. I
had my 5th graders reading it with other Holocaust stories. The reading
level is 4.6. The only other objection I've heard or read about is the
fantasy end.

What say you?

Leslie
