I'm still looking for the perfect book for our One Book, One School project this year. I posted a hit about a month ago looking for a multicultural title that would be appropriate. I've read all the ones that were suggested, and while they are wonderful books, they aren't quite what I was looking for. So, I decided to try again. Our One Book, One School is scheduled for February - so at this point, I'm just looking for something that would be a great read, as well as have a meaningful message. We did the Lorax last year, so I'd like to highlight something other than the environment this time. We are a third, fourth and fifth grade school. We will be focusing on this title for two weeks, so I am hoping to find something that can be used across the curriculum. Any suggestions would be welcomed! :-) Mary Alice Mary Alice Hudson Media Specialist Cape Fear Elementary School Rocky Point, NC mah@artichoke.org -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
