Hello Everyone! I had a great Turkey Day. I hope everyone else did, too. My teachers have approached me with a challenge. We are having a practice state mandated test for 4 hrs--every class on campus. The students have to stay in the classroom and be quiet when they are finished. They are only allowed to read, no other activity. As you all know some will finish way before the others. The teachers wondered is there some reading contest I could come up with to get them to read quietly until all are finished. Each student will have a book of their choice for after the test. Has anyone ever promoted a reading contest during school wide testing? Any suggestions? I appreciate any and all suggestions. I will post a hit if I get any replies.
