Hi LM_NETters, I am having a 4th grade class rewrite "David Goes to School" by David Shannon for the library. As they are finishing, I'd like to have activities for them to do independently as others finish their writing (we are illustrating a litany of things David shouldn't do, and then writing short paragraphs why David should not do that). I have both an English monolingual and Spanish bilingual class and any help with worksheets (other than coloring or phonics!!!) based on David would be appreciated. I know that about half will finish and half won't, and need something to keep them occupied while we edit and finish others. We have a big problem with bullying in the class and I need them in their seats and not talking =) Thanks so much!
