Clear DayGood morning! I had some requests for a hit so here they are! My original request was for favorite titles of adventure books for teenage boys without alot of sex or profanity. I have somewhat compiled the responses. Brian Jacques' Redwall series. (3 recommendations) Hunt for Red October. (Military adventure) Maximum Ride by James Patterson. It's a series of 3. (received 3 recommendations) They areadventure/science fiction where the end of every chapter is a cliff-hanger. Even not-very-good readers would enjoy them. Son of the Mob by Gordan Korman. "Airborne" by Kenneth Oppel (received 2 recomendations) Airborne's sequel "Skybreaker" "Hatchet" by Gary Paulsen (This is great and on a high interest lower reading level meaning it appeals to adults but is not to hard for fifth graders). "Merchant of Death" by MacHale "Fablehaven" and "The Candy Shop" by Brandon Mull. (I have read both of these and found Fablehaven especially entertaining. I am not much into fantasy/adventure but these were good. The following are science fiction/adventure but Extremely popular Enders Game and the sequels--Orson Scott Card (Sci Fi but even non sci fi boys like it) Eragon Here there be Dragons--Owen Authors to consider: John Grisham? (Any of their titles) Brian Jacques Robert Jordan Thanks once again to everyone for contributions. Have a super day!
