Thanks to everyone for your help! This list has been so helpful to me as I start this new job. I was feeling pretty complacent after 7 years at my previous school. New school, now I feel like a brand new librarian all over again. I have used this one with older kids 4-6, but it might be good for background information to use with the younger ones too. http://www.henry.k12.ga.us/pges/projects/around.htm Here is a site I bookmarked last year: http://www.santas.net/aroundtheworld.htm. It still looks good. http://www.santas.net/howmerrychristmasissaid.htm http://www.kn.pacbell.com/wired/fil/pages/listchristmahe.html http://holidays.kaboose.com/index__30.html http://www.woodlands-junior.kent.sch.uk/customs/Xmas/calendar/index.html http://www.quia.com/cb/20308.html http://www.kidsturncentral.com/holidays/christmas/12daysown.htm Molly Clark, Librarian Minetto Elementary School, K-6 Oswego, NY 13126 mclark3@oswego.org -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
