[LM_NET] OT: Laptop advice

Good morning all,  I am trying to decide which laptop to purchase.  I
want a Macbook Pro but am concerned because the district won't support
macs, even though they run windows as well.  I've even bee told that the
servers will be eliminating access to files by macs....jeez.  I would
greatly appreciate any comments or advice you can offer about the joys
of mac laptops and/or PCs.  Thanks in advance for you help, as always.
