LM_NET Archive



There are some school policies that I think are silly, but if they are
policies, I feel it is my responsibility to enforce them.  The teachers
who aren't team players make it more difficult for everyone else.  There
have been policies in the past that our entire team has examined and
changed (example:  gum chewing).

Well, I know it sounds inflammatory, and I don't mean it this way, but
yes, I think it's okay to hack around the policies. The policies are
wrong. Myspace isn't hurting anyone like speeding or copyright
infringement are. And there are a million good uses for social networks.
I'd definitely look the other way. I say this as someone who doesn't
have to deal with filtering, and hearing about stuff like this makes me
very glad I'm not in that kind of situation.
