Our first step of the process went very well. The complainant had sent
a letter saying she would agree to whatever our committee decided. Our
committee consists of two parents, two teachers, the dean of discipline,
an administrator, a support person, and myself -- we all read or reread
the book that was being challenged, Go Ask Alice. After much discussion
with each person giving their answers to the questions on the review
process form, the decision was made to keep the book on the shelf with
no restrictions.
Thank you all for your time and efforts in sending me reviews and good
wishes in my search for support of this book! I tried to thank you
individually. If I missed you, I'm sorry. THANK YOU!
