Hello All,

For those of you who have an opinion, are there a few library schools that
you would consider "the best," say, for someone who doesn't know which
specific area of library and information science that he wants to
concentrate on? (although probably NOT school librarianship)

U.S. News & World Report names the top 3 for Ph.D. programs, but does that
necessarily mean they are the best for masters programs? (I haven't
purchased the entire report - I've just glanced at the top 3.) I'm thinking
the student might want to base a decision on more than what is in U.S. News.

Thanks for any insight you can give me, or if you can point me in the right
direction.
