[LM_NET] Tar: legislation in New York

  Hi All:
   
  I was wondering about the status of legislation in New York State concerning 
school libraries. Does anyone have any idea if they will mandate elementary 
librarians in the near future? So many schools in New York have no librarian or a 
librarian who hops frantically from building to building..I lost my job because of 
lays offs (I was tenured but it didn't save me.) that left only one librarian to 
cover 6 schools.
